• It doesn’t come with Peppa Pig’s parents – which strikes me as strange that Peppa and her friends are at home alone
• I wish it came with more characters, but most playsets like this only come with a few

Why we love this Peppa Pig Toy Set:

We bought this Peppa Pig set close to two years ago, and it’s one of the only toys that both of my kids have consistently played with. It’s more interactive than other sets and seems to be a better deal for the dollar amount than the cheaper Peppa Pig sets. It comes with a TON of furniture, and the lights/sounds make it a lot of fun to play with.

What other parents think about it:

Most parents say they love this set. The ones that don’t are mostly the ones who don’t know the secret I’m going to clue you in on – be aware that it has a switch on the back that NEEDS TO BE TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. It’s not easy to see…and it’s not explained on the box/instructions. For more clarification, read the reviews to avoid possible three year old heartbreak when the lights/sounds don’t work (hint – it’s probably not actually broken).

Summary:

This Peppa Pig toy set was the first Peppa Pig toy that we purchased – and it was for my daughter’s birthday when she turned two. It’s basically like the mini version of the Peppa Pig Lights and Sounds set, although it does include a few unique pieces that you don’t get in the larger set.

This Peppa Pig toy includes:

Peppa Pig, George, Suzy Sheep, the house, a table, four chairs, a fridge, sink, bathtub, toilet, bunk bed, washing machine, couch, TV, and a barbeque.

Pros:

• A good amount of starter furniture
• More budget-friendly, while still getting a neat playhouse
• Peppa Pig dolls fit easily in the chairs (anyone with a toddler KNOWS this matters)
• Closes (we keep all pieces inside the house) and it can be carried around

Cons:

• It doesn’t come with Peppa Pig’s parents – which again strikes me as strange that Peppa and her friends are at home alone
• I wish it came with more characters, but most playsets like this only come with a few
• It’s relatively small and shallow
• It’s not very sturdy

Why we love this Peppa Pig Toy Set:

This Peppa Pig toy is near and dear to my heart, as it was one of my three year old’s (two at the time) first experiences with imaginative play. It was relatively inexpensive and had enough stuff with it that our daughter could play with it frequently without getting tired of it. I also liked how easy clean-up was – this is one of the few toys that we haven’t lost any pieces too.

What other parents think about it:

Most parents really like this set. Some parents felt that the set was too flimsy and it was smaller than they had hoped for. There are also some that have trouble closing the set and keeping toys from spilling out of it, although we’ve personally not experienced issues with it.

Peppa Pig Transforming Campervan

Summary:

This Peppa Pig campervan can open into a double decker home – which is neat because you can have the benefit of playing with it as a home or as a car. My kids are OBSESSED with things that drive – so this is perfect for toddlers like that.

Peppa Pig, George, Mommy Pig, Daddy Pig, a foldout slide, a bed that turns into a pool, small loft bedroom that turns into a tent, campfire, two camp chairs, two normal chairs, a picnic table and an oven front. 

Pros:

• Flexible play – you can use it as a house or a van
• Includes a slide which a lot of kids will love
• Includes more Peppa Pig dolls than most other sets
• The sounds are cute
• Sturdy

Cons:

• Only two pigs come with this set
• The pieces don’t stay together very well, which is SO frustrating to a young toddler (and really just another design issue)
• The front door tends to fall off (see a pattern…design issues)
• It’s expensive

Why we love this Peppa Pig Toy Set:

We have played with this Peppa Pig toy (although we don’t own it) and my kids LOVED it because they love driving little cars around. It also comes with a ton of accessories, which is nice considering you have to buy little sets to make other toys usable. 

What other parents think about it:

Most parents really liked this set. There were plenty of people purchasing it for their two, three, and four year olds as a gift – and most kids loved it. Some people felt it was not very sturdy and that the design was poor, while others said their toddler’s played with this toy for over an hour at a time, which tells me it’s pretty great.

Summary:

This Peppa Pig campervan is the one that WE personally own. It’s honestly not my favorite toy (it doesn’t entertain my kids half as long as some other options) but overall it’s a great one to add if your child already has a lot of Peppa Pig toys. It’s one of the most budget-friendly options, and some kids would get a huge kick out of it (maybe kids that go camping a lot), mine were just not as impressed with it.

Why we love this Peppa Pig Toy Set:

This is the campervan that we own. While I don’t recommend this Peppa Pig gift if it’s your child’s FIRST Peppa Pig toy, it makes a great addition to one of the house sets. There’s only a couple of pigs included, and unless your child is familiar with camping

What other parents think about it:

Kids and parents both like this set quite a lot. It’s fairly straight-forward in the type of play that your child can do with it, and kids that understand the concept of camping will love it. Some parents expressed frustration over the roof not staying on well, but overall it seemed to be a pretty small thing among reviewers.

Summary:

There are a few options when it comes to a playground or outdoor-inspired Peppa Pig toys for three year olds. This one is our favorite because it’s the biggest set we’ve been able to find, and has a LOT of options for imaginative play.

Princess Peppa, George, Richard, a slide, castle, ladder, two chairs, bike, tea set with table, tire swing, tree swing, and muddy puddles.

Pros:

• Lights and sounds
• Flexible play
• George themed, so perhaps a better fit for kids that want something centered around Georgey Pig. 

Cons:

• Expensive (it wasn’t as pricey when we originally purchased it)
• The snap to keep it closed is kind of finicky
• A little small

Why we love this Peppa Pig Toy Set:

My girls really like this set. It’s one of the only “outdoorsy” Peppa Pig toys we own, and the little tire swing is super fun to play with. Overall it’s a neat toy. The pieces fit into the little green base fairly easily as well.

What other parents think about it:

There are fewer reviews of this product than many other Peppa Pig toys, and I’m not really sure why honestly (the price maybe?) Some parents don’t feel that it was worth the cost and find that the pieces do not stay in place very well, but as far as Peppa Pig toys go – this is a great choice with a lot of flexibility to do different things.

Summary:

The Peppa Pig princess castle is a favorite in my home. Honestly, I was not super impressed with it when I bought it, but my three year old LOVES this Peppa Pig gift and still plays with it. It’s budget-friendly, cute, and flexible in how your child can play with (my toddler uses it for other figurines she has – like these adorable mini Disney princesses).

My girls are OBSESSED with Princess stuff (despite my efforts to give them gender-neutral toys), and so this was no different. Truthfully – my kids do not play with the Peppa pig toys that came with it. Instead, they play with other Princess dolls in the castle (which I HIGHLY recommend them here). The door clasp is a little obnoxious since it doesn’t always stay closed, but overall that’s my only complaint.

What other parents think about it:

Parents report that their little ones like this Peppa Pig toy – although it IS very simple. The toys are interchangeable so if your little one has more Peppa Pig figurines, they can play in the castle too. Other parents were also frustrated by the latch not working very well, and the blue door is hard to keep closed.

Again – I think having extras is ALWAYS a good idea (especially since we’re talking about toddlers). 

What other parents think about it:

Parents don’t have issues with these figurine sets, except for a couple that felt they should’ve been bigger (they’re the same size as any other Peppa Pig figurine). There are some customers that believe they received a product knock-off, so don’t be afraid to exchange it if something looks off to you.

This castle fort is SUPER cute – and very budget-friendly. This castle fort is part of a series called “Little Places”, and you can get different scenes such as a grocery store, hospital, and firehouse. I definitely recommend checking them out.

• Budget-friendly

• Makes a great travel toy

This Peppa Pig toy is great for travel and is a part of the Little Places playsets (which you should check out). The parts are interchangeable with other Peppa Pig sets, and it’s CHEAP!

What other parents think about it:

Kids love playing with Sir George, and overall this playset series has great reviews. Some people wished that it included more characters (it only comes with George), but overall it’s a good value for the price.

Most parents were happy with this product, but the ones that weren’t were either upset because they did not receive the color they were hoping for (you can’t choose which color you get), or the backpack strap broke soon after. It is a BIG hit with most toddlers, and the products inside are pretty good quality.

We love magnetic dolls, and these are no different. Personally we prefer the magnetic wooden dolls from Melissa and Doug because they seem more durable, however they don’t have a Peppa Pig option. The clothing is varied and encourages your kiddo to be creative with their choices.

This is considered a good value by most parents, I think in part because it’s priced much lower than other Peppa Pig toys. Some people thought it was sturdy, while others thought it felt extra flimsy. It makes me wonder if perhaps there was a bad batch of these went out, but I don’t think we’ll ever know.

Why we love this Peppa Pig Gift

I actually purchased this set of table and chairs as I was doing research for this article. I have a friend who has the Frozen version, and the set is seriously ADORABLE. It’s big enough for two kids to play comfortably, but not too big that it’s hard to fit in your home. The toy keep is extra neat, and we plan to keep markers and crayons in ours.

This is a great chair to have around. It folds up really small and is easy to get out and use. The sturdy frame will keep your little one safe, and these chairs are surprisingly pretty dang comfortable.

What other parents think about it:

Kids and parents both like this chair, and talk about how it was inexpensive for the quality they received (and a few talk about children tipping over, so be careful!) – a few of the reviews had the chair tear pretty soon after getting it, but these people were the exception.

Personally I prefer to stay away from Polyester because it seems like it isn’t as good of quality, nor as comfortable. This comforter is SO adorable and very good quality. 

What other parents think about it:

Parents and kids LOVE this comforter, with the only complaint being the price. IT’s a tad overpriced for what it is, especially considering you can get a full bedding set for the same price (see below).

While most parents are happy with the bedding set, some felt it was cheaply made and thin. Be wary washing it, as some reviewers state that after washing it a few times the blanket got torn.
